A scandal has broke this week regarding Rep Jane Harmon (D-CA).  Harmon was busted on NSA wiretap trying to help out an Israeli agent by lobbying the DOJ on an American Israeli Public Affairs Committee espionage case.  The Israeli agent would then lobby House Speaker Pelosi to make Harmon head of the Intelligence Committee.  I must say that this spying of Israel against the USA is downright despicable.  The USA is Israel's must vocal and trustworthy ally.  For Israel to spy on the USA is just maddening.  I too support Israel, but this makes me wonder if the flak the USA gets for the support is worth it?  Plus, the USA gives all sorts of aid to Israel. There is one caveat though.  The NSA wiretaps only mention Democrats.  Given Democrats wussy views towards Hamas and Iran, perhaps Israel feels the need to spy on the DFL?  I don't know all the details, but Israel better get their act together.  They are on the cusp on attacking Iran and will surely need us in one way or the other.
